Andres Perez

Andres’s interest and talent for mathematics and its applications made him pursue a degree in actuarial science.

During his studies, he found the potential and power of programming. Aiming to excel at programming he started his professional career as software developer with Sony, Budapest. Once he became proficient, he was promoted to data scientist. Since then, he has been pursuing new challenges and opportunities to grow and contribute to big tech projects where modelling and coding are at the core.

He has worked as software developer, data scientist, business analyst, quantitative analyst and risk modeller in Sony, Atradius and de Volksbank where he became highly skilled in Python, R, SQL, VBA, Jenkins, Git, Spark and Matlab. His interests are: data science, machine learning, statistics, deep learning, programming and modelling in general.
